-The GEM-E3 model distinguishes between three types of transport services namely water, air and inland transport. These sectors demand energy inputs which are provided similarly to the industrial sectors by power generation sectors and coal, oil and gas manufacturing and distribution sectors. Transport activity of each sector is determined by international trade flows and the international transport margin price of each country.
