REMIND is an inter-temporal optimization model, solving for the perfect-foresight equilibrium of the world economy between the years 2005-2150. The spacing of time steps is flexible. In the default case, there are five-year time steps until 2060 and ten-year time steps until 2100. We typically focus on the time span 2005-2100, but run the model until 2150 to avoid distortions due to end effects.
